Hi Depth,
I just want to send you support and thoughts. Did GP suggest any meds to aid your diagnosis ….any talking therapies. Inertia is a major symptom of depression and of course the depression loves isolation. My suggestion would be to just start by doing something small and simple and kind for yourself. Like clean your teeth. Like drink a big glass of water. Like wash your hair. Start small. Try and achieve just a small thing for you then if you can, see how you feel and take it from there. There are Safe Haven centres locally. These are open in the evenings from 6-11pm and are staffed by mental health workers who are just a spinel for a chat. You don’t need a referral …,anyone can go. Also ask your GP for a referral to mental health services. It sounds like you could use a mental health care coordinator and home crisis team. Thinking of you and start small. Good luck!

Hi I know how your feeling I have bad health anxiety and I’m sure I’m depressed everyday is a struggle I agree that even a small accomplishment makes you feel a bit better even for a while easier said than done I hope you start feeling better soon

One small achievement at a time. Getting up is an achievement. If I can eat then that's a win isn't it ?
