Where my colleagues are being upskilled, nearly 2 years into a job I'm not. I have very few friends and undiagnosed anxiety every day since I was 16 and am nearly 22 now. I don't have a partner as every man I've met seems to use me for sex and not care about me. What can I do to help myself?

I have my own house and look after myself, but I'm miserable

There is a big stigma around mental health in my family, although I've considered CBT I'm scared to do it. My family shout at me if I've mentioned my issue over the years and lost a parent at 17 and have really struggled since then.

I’d say take the CBT and get a definite diagnosis for the anxiety, then take antidepressants if that’s relevant.
Rather than looking at your problems as one big thing, make a list and tackle one thing at a time.

CBT or counselling can be very good for building confidence & self esteem . Sometimes life can throw a lot at us , its no harm to talk to your gp or a counsellor.
The pandemic has hit young people harder than they realise . Its my opinion that as time passes , young people will wonder how they coped through it all .
Sending lots of love x

What do you do to make yourself happy?

Have a look at this self help guide - it might help you understand yourself a bit better and you can work through it at your own pace.
