Are there any AD I can take while bf?

DS2 is 8mths. Bf 2/3 times a day, and am now thinking that the PND is out of control.

Any suggestions?

yep lustral, the hospital gave me it when i was bf and told me its safe to take when bf, hope this helps ad are great they really do help.

o also wat helped me was my hv coming back out every week and i could talk to her about how i felt, when you visit your doc he should contact her for you anyway, do you get support from your family?your dp/dh?

Dh is fab - so is my hv and gp (gp is a bit of a specialist in female mental health esp pnd)

Really thought things were getting a lot better, but a few things have happened recently and the way I've reacted isn't me iswyim.

I was on sertraline (think it's generic Lustral) too while bf. Docs said it was fine. I hope you feel better soon.

I take Citalopram and am BF my 16 month old. I wouldn't take anything that wasn't ok for her. Dr did say it can cause colic type symptoms, but we've had no problems.

Talk to your Dr, there will be something they can give you.
