I have battled with depression for some years, the last year due to lockdown and various personal circumstances it has affected my ability to do my job. I had a few weeks off sick at the start of the year. My employer referred me to occupational health and they stated their opinion was I likely meet the requirements of the disability provision of The Equality Act 2010.
Does anyone have any advice on how to act on this recommendation? They say state ultimately it’s a legal decision opposed to a medical one.
