I am in my mid forties now and I've seen a therapist and she has recommended I have EMDR therapy for child hood trauma I have experienced.

Has anyone had this and has it been effective?

I have an anxious preoccupied attachment style which is awful to live with.

I haven't had it personally but know multiple people who have (I've spent time in a psychiatric hospital so made lots of friends with various MH issues).

They all said it helped them so much...all very positive without any exceptions!
