It is Paroxetine (seroxat). 20mg per day. Doc has recommended 20 one day then 10 the next for the first 10 days then 10 a day for 2 weeks.

I'd say that's too fast

What would you recommend?

I'm not sure but I would just say try and do it as slowly as possible.

I was on 100mg of setraline and am coming off over a whole year. Apparently the smaller doses are also tricky towards the end.

I'm not an expert but what about:

  • 20/10 for 6 weeks -10 for 6 weeks
  • 10/5 for 6 weeks
  • 5 for 6 weeks
  • 5/2.5 for 6 weeks
  • 2 5 for 6 weeks

That sounds good. Thank you I think I will go with that.
