Hi everyone, we have got the most beautiful little boy and we are lucky enough, through IVF, to have another on the way. Unfortunately, work haven't been very supportive and I've had to hand my notice in as a teacher as I felt there was some bullying going on. I also have huge self esteem issues, in particularly with the way I look as there are times people mistake me for a man, calling me 'sir'. As you can imagine, with the hormones and all this going on, it's really hard. I'm trying to see the positive each day but it's difficult.

I think you look lovely OP, I especially like the second pic! Lovely and warm, great smile. Absolutely no chance would I ever think you were a man!

That's really kind of you to say, some days are better than others but today has been a tough one. X

Have you spoken to anyone about how you’re feeling? Flowers

user1494665637 · 04/06/2021 22:45

I've had some counselling which works initially but it tends to come back when I'm feeling exhausted and going through a bad patch. I'm sure in a few weeks things will look brighter again and the hormones won't help 🤦‍♀️😂.x

OP you look lovely. Sorry you're having a tough time. Have you mentioned to your midwife/GP how low you're feeling? Sometimes these things can worsen if left unmanaged. Thanks

Please do. Mine was so understanding of my negative thoughts. She told me to book in with the GP and she checked in on me a couple of times which made me feel a whole lot better x

Hi, I've posted on here previously. My anxiety is creeping back up again. Many people are mistaking me for a man again and I'm sure someone commented on the street the other day. I'm so upset and don't know what to do about it anymore. Apart from plastic surgery I'm stuck looking like I am. Below is a picture of me walking with no make up or hair done as I don't see the point anymore

OP maybe you'd be better off asking this on a different board? Not really anything to do with pregnancy.

I'm struggling to see how anyone sees you in a masculine way at all, so would strongly suggest you look into counselling or other professional help 😕

Regenbogen22 · 31/05/2022 19:27

I've asked MNHQ to move it to the Mental Health board, I'm sure you'll get better and more targeted advice there 😊

Reganbogen22 Thank you.

Ah OP. Anxiety is a bitch. I've been there. I hope you get the help that you need. The headspace app was life changing for me.

I'd just like to reassure you, as others have done, there is no way on gods green earth that you look like a man. Your face is very feminine. In all pictures you are so pretty 🥰
