Citalopram not working

My GP has put me on Citalopram 10mg for GAD and health anxiety and mild depression . I am on day 11 with no side effects but also no change in
How I feel at all. Should I persevere or is this obviously the wrong drug for me??

Maybe you need a higher dose. Or maybe it's not the right one for you.

In my very limited anecdotal experience, (based on my self and several friends) people with clinical depression tend to find citalopram effective whereas people with GAD seem to find sertraline more effective. Have you tried sertraline yet?
