Ohhhhhh Summer I am so sorry you are having a shitty time. (I am FA, you were there when I was having my baby!)
DH sounds really unhelpful and I am sorry about the train strike. That is very bad luck. I am sending you a BIGGGG cuddle for you and your little ones XXX

Is there any way you might be able to move somewhere else to carry on with your childminding project?

Yes that's me! I am Ok, still pretty depressed but I was before so nothing new...I am used to it...I know what you mean, when everything starts to seem insurmountable and like things are conspiring against you.
Wilbur is 5 months and a few days, how fast they have grown already...I cannot believe it...I will always remember you from the summer when we were having our babies!!

By the way I think you are very brave to resign to be with your little girl, I know I would find it very hard to leave mine too...well done to you for doing that! Childminding sounds like a fantastic idea, you will be great at it.
I hope it will find a way in the end.

Poor you, sounds like you're having a really bad time. It's awful when everything goes wrong at once isn't it? Try your best to stay strong, make sure you put your own needs first once in a while and I really hope things get better for you soon.

Sorry to hear about this run of bad luck. You must be so disappointed about cancelling your visit. Hope you get to see your parents soon

HairyIrene · 17/11/2007 13:05

Oh Summer. I am so sorry. I have been out to town with Ds's to see Pere Noel in a store. Just got back.
I hope things start to look better for you in a while, sometimes the darkest hour is before the dawn, as they say.

More wine is definitely called for, plus some chocolat, ma cherie xx

Summerfruit - it's very hard when you live far away from your family. I feel guilty that my family can't see my children as much as they would like.

Can you organise some nice things for you and dh to do while your mil is there to babysit?
