He has put me back up to 20mg. I have to see him again in one month.

He says the kids don't do as I say as I don't lay down the law enough. Haven't I been asking for help with this for ages?? All the consequences we have currently tried have had no real effect, even when we have tried them for a good while.

Can't think of anything else to try.

Will be collecting DS1 on my own today and walking home together as hubby has come home sick. At least he will get about 20-30mins alone with me.

oh sweetheart xxxxxxxxx

was that the doctor saying about you laying down the law?????

Lulumama · 16/11/2007 14:30

20 mg is a reasonable start, you might find it helps....

keep going with the new strategies with the DCs, it will work, just not overnight

meant to say going well

NAB3littlemonkeys · 16/11/2007 14:38

It was the GP saying that.

Am I being unrealistic about how long things take coupled with not being consistent enough? I don't want to feel like I am constantly sending the kids to their room and getting at them, or is that exactly what I need to do?

Both DH and I are on the same side and both don't know what to do half the time!

you need time

a few days is not enough..

also, when you are depressed , everything feels much worse and hopeless anyway.

Just had a nice walk home with DS1 chattering away about nothing.
