Anxiety due to DHs long term illness?

My DH has a chronic (long term) health problem, over 12 major operations in 18 mths. Another is around the corner. I am exhausted and depleted from the stress of the waiting for the ops and waiting for results and my little one's separation anxiety when dh goes to the hosp. Im just reaching out to hope someone else can hand hold in a similar place in life, it's such a lonely journey as a couple. We're young so no other couples we know are going through similar. I'm just a wife and a mum who is trying to hold it all together... No close family on either side (bereavement in my case, parents abroad in his case).

My DH has a serious illness and is due a major op soon . I'm a bit older than you and my DS is 19 and a student away from home so it doesn't impact on family life so much but it is unrelenting and exhausting at the moment. You have probably looked into/joined forums on social media or websites offering support for the condition. Sometimes the "official " organisations are not the most supportive. Family and friends can only do so much but it can help to connect with people who understand the practicalities involved. Be kind to yourself. Sending virtual hugs.
