I was diagnosed with ADHD when I was 17. I'm now 30. Back then it was totally just 'the bad behaviour' problem.
I recently did another assessment last year and it's so reassuring to hear how ADHD presents in adults. Since my later confirmed diagnosis I've felt liberated. Everything makes sense.
I thought I'd start this thread for anyone in the same boat who now can pinpoint reasons to their behaviours.
Il go first - my husband always tells me I don't listen to him 😅! I really do I just don't look like I'm listening cos I'm also looking out the window at an interesting squirrel...
