Breastfeeding on citalopram

Hi I'm pregnant with my second baby and really wanting to breastfeed this time, I'm currently on 10mg citalopram for depression and anxiety and have read that it's sometimes not advised to breastfeed whilst taking it. I've been on sertraline before and that didn't work for me so that isn't an option. Has anyone successfully bf whilst taking citalopram?

Thanks in advance

I'm bf a toddler but I've been told there should be no issue. Apparently a really small bit passes through so fine for normal healthy baby.

Also much more will pass through with pregnancy than breastfeeding right?

I stayed on my citalopram (30mg) throughout my pregnancy and breastfeeding on my doctors advice and everything was fine. I did a lot of research before I asked the Dr. about it as I was so scared I wouldn't be able to try breastfeeding but she said the amount that passes to the baby is so small that the risks to the mothers mental health outweigh any other risks essentially.
