Hello everyone,

I've written on here before regarding managing anxiety and ocd traits as they have been magnified due to shielding and the pandemic occuring. I was recently noticing how it was affecting only my mental health but also physical health. Just wondering how people are managing since the easing of some restrictions. I have become really hyper vigilant and worried something bad has / will happen which creates unnecessary stress. This hasn't been a good week and I feel exhausted from it all. :(

Hi OP, hope you’re ok. I’m not really managing either at the mo - have just referred myself to MH services. I hadn’t linked it to restrictions easing specifically but for me I think it’s that as restrictions ease life gets busier: school run, back into the work place etc.... I know lots of people are enjoying this ‘returning to normal’ but for me I think it’s just adding to my stress levels. Have started to get physical symptoms too - nausea, weight loss.... do you have professional support? If you don’t probably worth getting some help if things are getting worse for you....
