Feeling low tonight. I can feel myself going to a hopeless place.

I'm here. Do you want to talk about it?

SunnySpringVibes · 28/04/2021 01:28

Here too if you want to chat

Nordstrom · 28/04/2021 07:55

@Spaniel4421 I hope things are looking better this morning?

HopeMumsnet · 28/04/2021 10:22

Hello OP, we are really sorry to hear you are feeling this way.

We hope you don't mind, but when these threads are flagged up to us we usually add a link to our Mental Health resources.
You can also go to the Samaritans website, or email them on [email protected]. Support from other Mumsnetters is great and we really hope you will be able to take some comfort from your fellow posters, but as other MNers will tell you, it's really a good idea to seek RL help and support as well.

We also like to remind everyone that, although we're awed daily by the astonishing support our members give each other through life's trickier twists and turns, we'd always caution anyone never to give more of themselves to another poster, emotionally or financially, than they can afford to spare.

Things are hard. Hope you woke feeling about better this morning

Thank you for the replies. I was regretting a job move still after a year.

I think I've fallen into perfectionism and then this sense of failure.

That's tough. Can you pull back a little from the job and too see if it's your perception of perfection that's the trouble rather than externally imposed "perfection"? If it's an internal thing it's easier to start addressing.
