my 17yr old dd has not enjoyed Year 12 at all, some due to new school and finding friendships difficult. Had a couple of isolations due to close proximity in first term then lockdown again. Has been working like crazy for exams but not doing as well as she wanted in the ones before Easter. Now with more exams coming up soon which she is anxious and crying all the time about how she feels she may have failed 2 of her subjects in pre-Easter exams. Still waiting for results which need to come asap so we know what we are really dealing with.
Want to get her in a better place for the May exams and see what happens with those.

We are getting a blood test to check she is not low in something. But have to admit I feel there is more to it than just a supplement. She says she just doesn't have any motivation for anything so her room is a state and she spends a lot of time in bed when not studying.
I have seen the headspace app and also I can get the Calm one for free through work. Has anyone found these useful?
Trying to boost her a bit by giving her berocca(b vits) for now and getting her room tidied while she is at school so at least she has somewhere nice to come back to.

Wondering if some sort of therapy would be a good idea as well but no idea where to start. I know through work (school) that Camhs takes ages.

Any advice would be appreciated as I am lost.
