Recommend a book to help me understand my toxic,dysfunctional family and the roles people end up with like hero, helper, scapegoat etc?

Just what it says in the subject really. Is there a book that you'd particularly recommend on this subject.

Its very old now but I enjoyed Families and How To Survive Them by John Cleese.

I was going to recommend transactional analysis too - I'm ok, you're ok is another one but Eric berne is fab. It's quite old-fashioned in some ways but a classic
