Hi, just wondering if anyone had tried this and how it works, ESA support group for mental health and thinking about supported work.

My dd does volunteering work which they are fine with. I think it depends on what you are planning to do?

I think it might depend on the reason for ESA. For example there are main reasons for the support group.

I am thinking of a short course for back to work skills for mothers who have been out the workplace. Some have MH problems and would tell the course about the health problems

Just don't want to trigger yet another interview by starting it.

This is probably something to discuss with your work coach at the Job Centre.

In the support group they tend not to have work coaches as that would be more for the work related group I think.

@Orangesandlemons77

Ah, right. I am in the UC equivalent of the ESA support group and don't have an assigned work coach, but can still contact the Job Centre and ask about stuff like this.
