Having relationship probs, dh all lovey dovey cos he wants it, but is a very selfish, chauvanistic male normally, we have very different parenting regimes, ideas on life in general , have talked about seperating but says he loves me and I'm too ccoward to admit we have changed, we have children which makes things more difficult. Dad died 10 yrs ago, cant talk to mum as shes not moved on, no real friends. ok, not that bad when you write it down. sorry , rant over.

well wanted to let you know someone has read your rant, and thinking of you. No real advice though.

I am sorry but from your post I wasn't sure what you wanted? Could you talk more to your husband?

Wisteria · 10/11/2007 20:39

Quite a reasonable reason for a rant; feel much the same as you a lot of the time but with 2nd dp, not the father of my dcs but close to them and thinking 'it must be me'......

I'm sending you a gin and tonic

wtpwtp, I can relate to some of your post....differing parenting ideals amkes life difficult for me and my DH, and having just had another baby things are a bit strained in the bedroom department as he really wants to, but I'm just so bloody knackered all the time (especially as he works away four days a week)

No real advice, but just wanted to let you know that you are not alone.

how old are your kids? Can you get out to parent/toddler groups to help meet oter mums, or join the parent/teacher association of your kids are older.

Can you discuss your concerns with your DH? tell him that you don't like his selfish behaviour?

hugs to you, things sound really tough. xx
