Weight gain on sertraline

Hi everyone, I hope you are all doing fine ❤️

I'm just wondering has anyone gained weight on sertraline. I have been on it for a few months now and the doctor has put me on 150 my. Also I'm on gabapentin . I don't know if these both cause your weight to increase but I have put on a good 8 pounds in about 3 months ! I have stopped the gabapentin for a few days . I was on 400 mg a day for arthritis of the spine . I am now considering stopping my anxiety tablets to see if it is actually them . I seriously can't afford to gain anymore weight ! I'm 5.3 and 11.6 . Thankyou

Hi op, I got some advice on this topic a couple of weeks ago here

I’m only a couple of weeks in and on a low dose with a view to increase in a week or two so can’t comment much from experience but from the responses on that thread it seems to vary quite a lot between people.

Thankyou very much for replying I have looked at this thread and I do rekon that it is making me pile on the pounds 😭 . Do I want to be fat and happy or skinny and unhappy .... decisions decisions lol
