How do I find a great counsellor?

I am looking for phone support so don’t need them to be local. I have used some searches on the BACP site etc, but they only tend to bring up local people. I have contacted a few but they were not the right fit.

Any suggestions on how to find someone really good?

Ukcp generally more highly qualified umbrella org, and I think psychologies mag have a search system. Also just do a Google search for the areas you want to cover.

Counselling Directory and Psychology Today have profiles of counsellors with details of what they specialise in 😊
