Day after a panic attack

I had a bad panic attack last night and today I just feel awful. Shaky, sick, lightheaded, exhausted, and like I could burst into tears at any moment. I also feel like I’m on a bit of a hair trigger in terms of having another panic attack.
I’ve had panic attacks before and they always seem to wipe me out the next day but I’ve never found a good way of dealing with that, beyond just rest.
Does anyone else have any good tips for recovering after a panic attack? Is it just rest and wait it out?

For me, if I’m totally wiped, it’s rest and accepting that another one might happen so I’m not trying to fight it off.
If I feel really wired then I find exercise helps - especially lifting weights as it keeps my heart rate lower than cardio (sometimes if my heart rate goes up my body confuses it for a panic attack and it actually triggers one) and really tired my muscles and reduces the feeling of being on the edge of another one.

Panic attacks are horrible. I hope you find something helpful to you. Flowers
