Ds is under cahms. Long story. Not in school.Severe ocd type intrusive thoughts. Anxiety . Had depression, suicidal thoughts. On Fluoxetine, beta blockers and melatonin. Got a job in a coffee shop 3x 4 hour shifts. Started a back to school course for with a view to a levels in Sep.

He is continuously exhausted. His boss has mentioned it and it’s looking like he may lose the job. We had a melt down after doing his course yesterday, said he can’t do the second day( only 2 days a week). He looked grim when I picked him up. He says it’s the thoughts.

He is binge/ over eating. Has put on weight. Aside from shifts 3 times a week, 1 day at college and counselling he lies on his bed all day and night.

Just don’t know what to do. This exhaustion constantly holds him back. Bar doling out meds and 1 x counselling a week with a counsellor CAHMs aren’t interested.

What could be causing it?

How long has he been on them? It could absolutely be the cause, but it's more likely if it's a new treatment!
