Hi, So i'm 44, and have always been hormonally sensitive - after a particularly bad 2 seeks with covid, i had my mirena out (awful pain the last few months on it) which caused all kind of hormonal drops....then it got better and my GP recommended HRT as she thought my oestrogen was dropping - long story short felt COMPLETELY off my face on the patches so had to stop.

This led to period soon after and now i'm ovulating (can feel it, it's the right time, discharge etc) and i feel completely taken over by a fear or losing control and dreadful intrusive thoughts. i know it's my hormones but it's so hideous to go through.

I appreciate my body has been through the wringer recently, but just wondered if anyone else experiences the same thing?

My coil is going back in next week as frankly i was far more balanced on it and will put up with the pain if it comes back.
