Sertraline missed does and anxiety

I’m on 100mg sertraline for anxiety and take it in the morning. I’ve been feeling quite anxious tonight and realised I had forgotten to take it this morning. Would missing one table make the anxiety feel worse or is that unlikely?

I would say 1 dose very unlikely to have any effect OP but very easy to worry about it if you're already feeling a bit anxious.

I've missed doses before and not noticed the difference.

If I miss one then I can feel quite anxious. The half life of this drug is short as far as I know.

I'm working on the basis that you have to take it for a few weeks before you notice the difference, I've also stopped taking Sertraline without weaning myself off (mistake!) and certainly noticed the difference but only after a couple of weeks

YES for sure. I'm only on 50mg and missed it one time. I am extremely well on it and was very well my whole life before the breakdown that put me on it. So I'm not anxious typically. So I was shocked that what made me realise I'd missed it was waves of adrenaline I hadn't felt in the 8 months since I was very sick with anxiety. Gave me a fright to be honest and I realised how slowly and carefully I will need to come off it.

Apparently withdrawal and real anxiety are very hard to distinguish.

A few WEEKS 😧 I’d be suicidal. Not joking...
