I started a new job 2 days ago and I feel like I'm not good enough already. Because of covid rules it's making my job more complicated and I feel like all I do is ask questions. Because of my anxiety aswell I'm scared to do things without asking because I'm scared I'm gonna do it wrong.

I've just come off anti depressants but I feel like maybe I need something for anxiety maybe? Or is it just first jobs jitters?

The first few weeks of a new job are always nerve wrecking. I hardly slept for the first 2 weeks of my new job and spent the whole time feeling like an idiot not know what I was doing Grin I’ve been there 6 years now and still remember the early days. It means I’m always as friendly and welcoming as possible whenever we get new people or students. It’s natural to ask questions and to be nervous of doing things without checking. I’m sure you will soon get into the swing of things and it will be easier soon. By all means speak to the Dr if you are struggling but what you feel now sounds pretty normal to me. Congrats on your new job Flowers
