Have you told your children you have ADHD? In a child friendly way of course.

I feel as if I do want to tell my children but maybe that’s wrong.

How old are the children? Would they understand? If they are old enough to understand then I would tell them.

Mine were teenagers when I was diagnosed. So I told them.

They’re old enough to understand a basic, child friendly description.

Is it really wrong to ask them not to tell anyone else though? I know it’s not good to encourage children to keep secrets but they do also need to learn about privacy and not everything is for everyone to know.
