I’ve being on the above dose for over 6 months now and I doesn’t seem to be helping.
I’m so tired all of the time, have no energy, everything is a chore, even brushing my teeth.
I have kids so I’m doing the bare minimum.
I’ve had a marriage breakdown which hasn’t helped the situation, neither has lockdown and working from home. I’m seeing a therapist weekly and I do the odd mindfulness meditation too.
I just can’t seem to get out of the funk. Doesn’t matter how much sleep I get I feel physically and mentally exhausted every single day. Friends suggest I exercise but I don’t have the energy to brush my teeth never mind do some exercise.

I’m at a loss of what to do really.

Have a chat to your GP. It sometimes takes a while before we find the perfect dose and med for us. Sertraline has tiredness as a side effect for me - I'm considering currently whether or not it's a deal breaker! As I feel mentally better but too tired to enjoy feeling better.

But yes, all is not lost - some people just suit certain meds better than others. There are plenty more to try if sertraline doesn't suit you :).

I was going to suggest the same as LindaEllen. I tried Sertraline and it didn't do much for me, I wasn't overly tired, but it didn't help me in any way.

I switched to Escitalopram and felt better within a couple of weeks. Talk to your GP and ask to try something else. Flowers
