Any thoughts on which is better for anxiety, lack of confidence & overthinking?

Different antidepressants suit different people so it’s hard to say, but I assume these two are very similar meds from the name. I know that escitalopram is meant to have less side effects though, if that’s any help. Apparently it’s a more expensive medication so GPs tend to go for citalopram first.

Was going to say the same - I have heard it is harder to get escitalopram due to the cost. I’ve heard it’s slightly better for anxiety, which is why I’m hoping to get it next week, but if they refuse I’ll ask for citalopram instead.
