I have been prescribed the above for anxiety and pain to do with a procedure I have had done .

Having read the side effects they sound pretty horrendous . I know AD's can effect people differently.

Would anyone be willing to share their experience or information they have

I just got over a adverse reaction to antibiotics, so rather nervous to take .

Any info gladly rec'd Smile

I'm on 120mg of duloxetine a day for depression. Sadly I'm one of the rare "weight gain" side effect sufferers. One day I will find the holy grail anti depressant that works for me and doesn't do anything to my weight!

My only other side effect - and this has only hit since going from 90mg to 120mg is the exhaustion. It really is something else - I can literally be mid conversation or playing a computer game and that's it, I'm asleep.

I started on 30mg and the dose has slowly been increased by my psychiatrist.

Good luck, I hope you get on with them

Try them for a while and then decide.
If they help, persevering will be worth it. Different people get different side effects, and those side effects can wear off or at least lessen with time. I have been on this for depression, anxiety and pain. Unfortunately it made me grind my teeth so much I had terrible headaches and had to stop. It did help with pain so it was a shame I couldn't carry on taking it.
