Sertraline withdrawal and pregnant.. help

I took 50mg citalopram for quite a long time. I was struggling last November and upped it to 100mg, but I couldn't cope with the nausea side affect so lowered it to 50mg. Even that made me feel sick, it's like I can't tolerate it? So I was taking 25mg every 2-3 days and seemed ok.
I've since found out I'm pregnant and due to nausea I'm not eating much. When I take sertraline now the next day my anxiety is through the roof, cold sweats, nausea.. it's horrendous. My anxiety and nausea is so bad I've been blaming the pregnancy and have been considering abortion.
Is it likely to be withdrawal symptoms or pregnancy? I'm in such a mess.

Hi OP

I’ve just come off citalopram 20mg and I feel horrific. Like I’m constantly drunk and just don’t feel like myself. I too am pregnant hence coming off of them

I think you’re feeling how you’re feeling because it’s withdrawals and you automatically think you’re going back to your old ways. But it’s not. I think you purely just feel like crap coming off of them. My doctor basically said you have to ride it out which is rubbish cause it feels so shit to feel like this. Just keep with it xx

Thank you. Have you been given anything else or did you just go cold turkey? Did you feel nauseous coming off them? x

@whatdayisitanyway well I decreased to one every other day for a while then stopped so yeah pretty much cold turkey!

To be honest I’m sick most days so I haven’t noticed anything different in that sense, more just dizziness. It’s worse in the evenings so I just go to bed. I’ve tried calling the doctors and waiting for a call back but I don’t want to go back on them to wean off again xxx
