Has anyone has an adult been diagnosed with ASD? For years I've thought I was bipolar, and so did my parents. I have 4 children, all of which I suspect to be on the spectrum but 'high functioning' apart from 1 who has severe delays and undergoing assessments but has been noted as probable ASD diagnosis. Since doing all this research into ASD it was a lightbulb moment for me. All the signs are there and it just makes sense. My doctor has agreed and has referred me for an assessment. Anyone else found out in a similar way? Any now you know, any tips on coping as an adult with 4 children. Thanks in advance if anyone has any tips.
