I havent read the rest of your thread so I dont know your situation. Is there someone you could call now? Who's home with you?

childmindersam · 27/10/2004 22:34

Can you ring anyone? Im sure they will not think you are crazy! Have you thought about ringing your gp?

marthamoo · 27/10/2004 22:35

Honey, you need to ring your GP now. Is your dh with you? Can he do it? You need more help now than we can give online.

moomina · 27/10/2004 22:35

SC, are you on your own? Please call someone - it's very important that you speak to someone if you feel this way.

marthamoo · 27/10/2004 22:36

I just read some of your other post - about being so scared for your dd. I really think you need professional help - you are ill, sweetheart. Please ring your GP.

MummyToSteven · 27/10/2004 22:36

have read and posted on this

Angeliz · 27/10/2004 22:37

I don't know what to say but PLEASE as others have said ring someone.
A freind-relative, anyone

hercules · 27/10/2004 22:37

Are you still there sc?

marthamoo · 27/10/2004 22:38

I'm not sure how old your dd is bt some hospitals now have mother and baby psychiatric units where you can still be together in a supported environment. I have been where you are and you need to get some help.

coppertop · 27/10/2004 22:38

Is there anyone who could come over and be with you?

childmindersam · 27/10/2004 22:38

Is it roght that your dd is only 12 weeks old. Sounds like pnd to me ring your gps emergency number and insist someonr comes to you ok!

You are not a bad mum just abit poorly!

MummyToSteven · 27/10/2004 22:40

are you still there SC?

It sounds like you are in the middle of a huuuuge spike of panic. I just don't know what to suggest to get your through it. This will sound really stupid and wet but have you tried breathing into a bag to try and regulate your breathing and stop you hyperventilating, as that may help calm you down?

is there anyone you can ring connected to your CPN/local mental health team?

Branster · 27/10/2004 22:41

Spacecadet please, please, please talk to someone who is in the vecinity. We are here for you but you need someone to help you on a practical level. See your GP as soon as possible. They can help you and can also put you in touch with some sort of support group for day to day help at home. Is DH with you? You have to tell him how you feel. I don't think he'll dismiss your situation. Show him these posts and he'll understand and will support you fully. Please, i'm begging you speak to someone now. phone someone you know. You are a good mother and you love your daughter, but you need and diserve getting proper support, face to face.
xxx

Branster · 27/10/2004 22:42

or phone your doctor on call number. can you phone your DH first? please talk to him.....

mieow · 27/10/2004 22:50

I felt like this one evening when I had PND, I phoned my GP and his wife answered, she spoke to me and said she would get her husband to come right round after he had finished with his patient. She then phoned me back and said he would be with me shortly, she made sure I was ok and kept me calm. You need to speak to someone honey, and ask someone to come round. Phone your GP, they will be able to help
