I've suffered depression/anxiety for years, not enough to be medicated or seek help.

The last couple of weeks have been really stressful, I was awaiting some results from GP. ended up in A&E at weekend with chest pains. Ecg abnormal but echo was all normal.

I feel like I can't control my mind, like I'm having pains all over my body, which I think is just in my mind. I can't eat/sleep or even sit still. I need help but don't know who to ask. I keep getting these weird feelings in my mind. Is there anything I can do or vitamins I can take. I really don't want to phone GP as I'm waiting anxiously for some test results.

Hi. If you feel like that I would suggest you do ring your GP and discuss some low dose diazepam as a short term measure. Perhaps think again about an anti-depressant too for the longer term. Otherwise exercise, breathing exercises and relaxation apps might help a little. Maybe talking therapy too. Good luck.

Hey yea I think you maybe need something from what you have written, there no harm in trying something if not for you then u just stop defo worth a call to GP I reckon , I left my anxiety and I’m not the sort of person to be anxious and depressed but my body was telling me I am so I finally rang my GP and put this way I’m defo better than I was and everyday now get better Smile

I really think you could benefit from some help from your GP, give them a call and tell them how you're feeling at the moment, even if its just a bit of medication to help you Flowers
