Anyone had any bad experiences with Lofepramine?

Been taking it for about 6-7 weeks and having horrendous dreams. Even hallucinated last night. Very scary.

No experience of this but thought I could bump it for you. Only suggestion would be to speak to your pharmacist and see if this is a common side effect - you could then take that info back to whoever prescribes for you? Sounds awful anyway - hope you get a good night tonight.

No, sounds scary. I took this previously and it really helped. I would go to your GP and tell him, it may be that it does not suit you. It could also be that you are experiencing more vivid dreams as your brains fires up and starts working more normally. I think I did have vivid dreams on it at some point but not scary ones. Also, nightmares and night terrors can be symptoms of depression - maybe it is not working yet?

no - but I did have similar experience with citaloprm and was put on lophepramine as a result. Tell your gp, there are plenty of alternatives
