If you had to say how long your medication took to work, could you say at what week did you first started noticing small changes and what week did you start to feel a significant improvement in mood?

What med did you take/ dosage etc.?

Where there any meds that did not work?

I'm on week 4 and feeling small changes. I'm hoping for more improvement but if not I'll be increasing my dose when the next prescription is due.

I starting feeling better around week 3, had little moments of real happiness, then constantly felt more positive and in a better place generally from week 6, I think. I’m on Citalopram, 20 mg. not tried anything else.

Sertraline for me and it's helped me no end. This is my second time on it and I think it's worked faster this time round. When I first started it I would say around a month in I noticed a lift in my mood.

Great question @PumpkinPieAlibi , are you on ad at mow , I feel like giving up on sertraline after 4 weeks

I was on Citalopram, started 20mg a day straight away as I was so Ill.

It honestly began working within a few days. That's not a placebo effect btw, I was in a really bad way mentally, I think what they used to term a nervous breakdown.
