General low-level unhealthy feeling

Hi everyone

Appreciate this might come across as a bit precious. I've been frustrated on and off for a few months now with a general feeling of slight malaise, headaches, metallic taste in my mouth, an unpleasant achey feeling behind my nose, and for over a week now my hips have started aching badly whenever I sit or stand too long, so that I still can't do my usual exercise (I'm in my 30s so arthritis is unlikely I hope!). It's getting me down as I can't enjoy my normal tea/coffee without it tasting sharp, and water is just disgusting a lot of the time.

I don't think I've had Covid; someone close to me has been tested for antibodies and they were negative. So I doubt it's post-viral.

My OH actually thinks there's something in my flat's water or even pollution in the air which is causing this, he reports similar symptoms occasionally when he stays over (but I think he could be confusing some with his IBS). Any ideas what could be causing this? My neighbours smoke incessantly but I have a good air purifier, and my windows don't open so I try and ventilate in other ways (opening back door occasionally etc.). It's a basement flat and OH thinks somehow malignant air is stagnating down here which makes me feel like a fragile character from the 1800s or similar lol. Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

You definitely need to open the door more than occasionally. Tab through the pages in this link for info.
