Feeling better 4 months pp

Hoping for some advice. I have been suffering pp anxiety and depression since my son was born. I was quick off the mark and on sertraline after 1.5 months (my mum has schizophrenia so I was quick to spot the signs and panic to the doc). Now at 5 months I feel perfect. OK its only been a week.

My hair has started falling out and I'm putting on weight again. This happened to me before on the combined pill (weight loss and depression). I am wondering if it was at least mostly hormonal? Did anyone else experience this change at 4 months? Maybe I'm being optimistic but I'm talking to the doc in a few weeks and thinking of asking to drop sertraline dose to 50mg again. Any experience /thoughts? Xxx

Can't comment on the weight gain but I've always lost a lot of hair after pregnancy and think this is a pretty normal thing as your hormones adjust. A quick Google suggests it can peak around 4/5 months after giving birth and it can take a year to regain your usual mop of hair.
