Covid jab side effects...

Had my first covid jab last week and felt completely and utterly depressed ever since. Anyone else had this as a side effect? It literally feels as though I've got no serotonin at the moment and seems a strange coincidence. Just wondered if anyone else had been affected this way??

Not had mine so far, but I've not heard of that from any of many friends who have had it.

Yes a scientist friend in his 80s had same experience and thus far it has not gone away. DP is also a scientist and they are both trying to work out how it could have had this effect. Let us know if you find anything out on that!

Interesting. I haven't heard of this and hope you feel better soon. Can I ask if you suffered from depression before? I'm wondering if it exacerbates an underlying issue.
Are you taking high strength vitamin D and magnesium? Both help with moods. Have you been getting out for a walk at lunchtime to avoid SAD?

Hi thanks for replies.
yes depression definitely my 'weak spot' just wasn't expecting to feel so awful.might not be connected but seems a strange coincidence.

Hormonal? DM had hers yesterday and said she was tired today, mostly spent it in bed. I am sure it will pass, give it another week.
