Going back on citalopram

I started citalopram a few years ago, I found that after the initial couple of weeks they worked quite well and helped calm my constant anxiety. I came off them in the summer of last year, and I think that over the last couple of months things are slowly getting worse for me. I have realised that I am back in a state of constant anxiety, I can’t concentrate, I can’t make decisions and I have no motivation to do anything. I think I may need to go back on them. Do I phone the gp? And what do I do if they won’t let me

Poor you Thanks. Phone the GP and just say what you've said here. If citalopram has worked well for you in the past and you feel like you are struggling now, that's a good starting point for the conversation.
