no.....it's not any of the comments on the message.I just don't like the idea that this comment was made and has upset so many people, but mumsnet have ignored it...basically.

If you really want to have your posts deleted you need to send an email to [email protected]. Why don't you have a think about it before doing that- we're a lovely bunch really you know

Enid · 25/10/2004 21:53

well, you can't police this site - well you could try but it will send you demented - lots of people here with opposing views, just leave if you don't like it I guess is the blunt answer?

2wildbabies · 25/10/2004 21:54

I am too upset at the idea that my problems seem trivial. It's put me off wanting to be a part of this site anymore.

Thanks for the email thingy...will send that now

Have to say i agree with what you have said 2WB and can understand completely why you want to leave.

I would say however, don't give them the satisfaction.

I too though will be thinking very carefully about what i post in future.

just to say check the thread now and don;t let it ruin Mn for you

Can I be really cheeky and say that I don't normally pop into this bit but on the odd occassion I do. I'm glad I did tonight.

Hey, 2WB, I posted something once on one of the other bits I got so carried away, I didn't think that I might be misinterpreting what I was saying to some. I got a slammer back from one user. Not her fault, hopefully not mine but I was so upset that I might have upset someone, I changed my name for a bit. I thought about leaving but where would that leave me? Where I was and that isnot what I needed.

I don't know the post you mean, so I cannot comment on that, just that MN is a wonderful place, a great site that has been put together for people like you and me. My confidence has grown and grown in just a few weeks, if that.

If you must go, no one can stop you but there are so many of us who would like you to stay, just for a bit - please.
If you decide to go, then please take some hugs with you and hope you return soon.
{{{{hugs}}}}

2wildbabies (that could be my name!) - don't leave because of one stupid post. Even the sympathetic posters on that thread don't actually agree with the original statement.

Depression and sleep-deprivation bloody well are serious problems, as I think everyone else on mumsnet would agree.

marthamoo · 25/10/2004 22:30

2wildbabies - most people don't agree with that poster - don't let that one thread drive you away.

acer · 25/10/2004 22:43

what one thread?

miam · 25/10/2004 22:48

2wild - don't give it the satisfaction of your leaving. It wanted a reaction, and your leaving would only please it more. I know how hard it is to deal with upsets like this when you are already feeling down (I know - was in the same situation a few weeks ago) and if you need some breathing space from MN then take a few days off. But don't do anything drastic like deleting all your posts - I nearly did and am so glad now that I didnt. I for one would miss your posts and your company on MN. xx

acer · 25/10/2004 22:50

I think I know the thread you are talking about, don't leave beacause of THAT ONE NASTY PERSON, they are obviously trying to stur things up and have succeeded
