My youngest is 13 and i am fearing for her mental health.

Recently she has opened up to me about her self harm issues and I have noticed her eating habits are becoming an issue as she can range from eating too much to very little. In October 2019 She came dangerously close to taking her own life.
She refuses to talk to a therapist, mainly her school counsellor. Not that I blame her, a close friend of hers opened up to the school counsellor and it did nothing and only landed her in more of a depressive episode and I'm not incredible with counselling.
She's incredibly talented, her art is really good for her age and her writing abilities are something else. The stories she tells me are something you would read in a published book. Im afraid her mental health may damage her skills.
The reason for this issues I don't know. She had some bad experiences with her father when she was very young but I don't know if she remembers and if she did, has it affected her mind now. Her best friend has anorexia and is incredibly toxic towards her. She's cried ( which she won't do infront of anyone ) multiple times about some of the things she's done, and she brings her up a lot like she almost idolises her.

I really don't know what to do.

There is really only one thing you can do and that is to make an appointment to see the doctor, ASAP. Take care.
