Didn’t want to read and run OP. Do you have any support in real life? Are you on any medication? It will pass, I promise it will. Sending a gentle hug.

anothernamereally · 01/01/2021 12:22

Gentle hug here too - it will pass op, is there anyone irl to talk to/ lean on?

Ithinkim · 01/01/2021 12:23

Don't do that, we will talk to you. Have you got someone with you there?

grey12 · 01/01/2021 12:25

Oh OP Sad you must know suicide doesn't solve anything. I have had dark thoughts in the past but so many amazing things have happened since then!!

Do get some help if you're feeling down. You took the first step in writing this thread, that's a lot! Call someone, maybe a GP or a helpline

ThanksThanksThanks

I've been suicidal many a time OP and glad I didn't do it because things got better. Have you had a medication review? You must get one because it can make such a huge difference.
I have complex PTSD and some new medication totally changed my life, no depression, no hallucinations, no more paranoid behaviour. I have a new me.
Get some help OP asap and for now HANG ON, this will pass and your life can definitely change.

RaeCJ82 · 01/01/2021 12:45

Please don't end it @fucksanta1 My mum took her own life 6 years ago. It has devastated my life and I will never be the same person I was before it happened. Please think about those left behind. Life will be worth living again. Please call a crisis team.

fucksanta1 · 01/01/2021 13:25

Thank you everyone it means a lot and I appreciate it x
I've been here many times and I have always got through this. My bipolar manifests with periods of feeling like this and it's very difficult.
Frustrating as the last six months I've been very well- I recently had a Meds review and everyone was happy. I've changed my job to a Lower paid but lower stress role. I have not been under mental health services since beginning of 2020z
This has made this setback hard to bare. My local mental health trust has a direct referral line staffed 24/7 I think I will phone

Hang on in there OP.

I have been very low myself before and feel your pain.

Well done on identifying your need for help. I do hope you get it IRL.

Just want you to know I’m rooting for you.

doodlejump1980 · 01/01/2021 14:54

You are loved. Do you have someone in real life you can talk to? I’m know they’d rather hear from you than hear your eulogy.
This too will pass, I promise. Please look after yourself Flowers

fucksanta1 · 01/01/2021 18:13

You have all been very kind. Still feel much the same x

I am very sorry you feel this way, it sounds really hard. It won't feel like it but it won't always feel like this Please talk to someone or Samaritans. I am sure you have people that love you. Please take care. Xx

AlwaysLatte · 01/01/2021 18:42

Sometimes I think we need our very best friend, and that's you. Talk to yourself as if you were talking to your best friend, and gently help them through it. Do it out loud! What would you say to her/him?

Maybe suggest they write a list of things that make them happy - be it a walk in the frosty air, a favourite meal, a bit of gardening, listening to a piece of music that lifts their spirits. Keep the list close at hand and do one of those things when you start to feel down. And look after that best friend of yours -make sure they're eating healthily and sleeping, and keep in touch regularly with your GP too.
When I suddenly lost my partner to an accident many years ago I really found that being a friend to myself like that helped me through it. Thanks
