Missed a couple of doses of citalopram...pins and needles

I have woke today and have pins and needles in my hand. I'm really worried this is a symptom of a serious condition like heart problems or cancer. I never get pins and needles for no apparent reason. I have been on citalopram for general and health anxiety since my youngest was 6 months so about 2 years now. The only thing I can think of that I have done differently is that I have been taking my citalopram a bit erratically recently and I have missed the last 2 or 3 doses. I have read that this can cause pins and needles but wondering if anyone has experienced this! Please help I'm

It could be withdrawal symptoms- you can find out if it stops when you resume your normal dose. Hope it helps.

I have had exactly the same symptoms when I've missed a dose, pins and needles and "brain zaps" (can't think of any other way to describe it) take your normal does and you'll be grand

Yes, it will be the missed doses of citalopram - happens to me if i forget. (I make pretty sure I don't, because of that exact thing.)
