Anyone got any experience of this? I have a relative who has got a much sought after place at a specialist MH unit. Taken 12 months or so to get accepted for a 9 month programme .
They are now saying they won't go and MH services are saying they will discharge them as they have exhausted treatment options. (They refuse to engage with services)
I do completely understand where they are coming from but it scares me rigid. Has anyone been in this situation and found that when care is withdrawn it is enough to make the person sit up and take some responsibility for themselves?
