Not in UK. Friend staying with us for quarantine as she's relocating back to Europe and now with us until the end of our shut down.

She is late 40's. Single. Works for a US company at director level. She covers Europe and US so works absurd hours. She is close to cracking. Keeps talking about ending it all (suicide). No point continuing. Jobs a disaster (it's all distance) and that she's got nothing else.

She's really awesome. Been my best mate for 30 years. My kids guardian. Beautiful, sexy, brave and ballsy.

I'm doing my best to get her signed off for mental health reasons next week. The thought of work makes her nauseous. She can afford 6 months out financially. She's forgotten all the stuff that made her life fun. She's basically been pretty much shut up for the last 6 months in the states.

She's contacted the work psychologist but not got back to them yet. She's seeing our doctor on Monday to get the note I hope.

What else should I be doing?

Just be there for her, keep being her friend.
