Posted this on other threasd but thought might be better doing a new one.

DS1 got 3 smacks this morning. I feel awful and know I shouldn't have done it. Won't try and justify it.

DD did something when I had repeated asked her not too, so I shouted, she cried, mothers glared as they have never shouted at their kids.

Cried in Asda.

Hubby had to come home.

Rung GP. Can't see him until Nov 2nd so left message. Has allowed me 2 weeks tablets and then have to see him.

Your GP is letting you down here, as you know.
Ring the practise manager, or get your DH to do it on your behalf if you're not up to it.
Hope you get some better support soon.

cant you just ask for a repeat prescription?

I feel it is more the system that is letting me down, as the GP has been great. He is just not there all the time.

I need tablets permanently and he isn't willing to do that. He says it wouldn't be good for me or the kids to be on them all the time. Well, this isn't bloody good either.

Has he not even mentioned looking into counselling, NAB?

He did, but the guy I saw gave me the creeps.
