Hi all,
Need some advice please. I've just gotten off the phone from my friend who is desperately worried and in tears.
Her DS is 20 years old and he's been behaving erratically over the last 48 hours. She believes it's some kind of psychosis but when she tries to talk to him he tells her that SHE's mad and psychotic.
There is a family history of schizophrenia but this episode could well be drug-induced as he habitually uses narcotics.
Who can she call for help? Because he's an adult he would have to admit himself voluntarily to a hospital but he truly believes there is nothing wrong so that is out of the question.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated!!
