Sertraline and weight gain

Has this happened to you? Sober for 250 days but not losing weight at all!

I have been on sertraline since July, and I'm taking it for anxiety and depression. I had lost about 6kg when I was feeling very unwell, and I've put 4kg back on since starting the sertraline, and I could eat all day!

Perhaps you needed to put the 4kgs back on?

Yes I did. Everyone kept saying I was so thin. But before I started the sertraline I felt quite poorly, didn't eat properly for weeks.

Yes I gained a stone and a half within a year.
I'm petite so it was really obvious.

Appetite was constant, craving food all day.
And it made me lazy, I just wanted to lounge and relax constantly.
I have never been so big in my life and its been difficult and slow to shift the weight back off even though I came off it 2 years ago.

I think it may be something to do with how my hormones reacted to it tbh.

It did take a way the extreme anxiety though.
