What does hypomania feel like?

I would love if some experienced MNs could tell me! I have a diagnosis of schizoaffective disorder, but with the affective part being depression only

But I feel so amazing at the moment that I'm wondering if there could be a bit of hypomania involved

Appreciate any wisdom you can share!

It feels like Christmas and your birthday and the best day ever all rolled into one.
Everything is right, every song that comes on the radio is my favourite
Food tastes awesome and think every day warrants birthday cake.
I feel sparkly and colourful.
My speech pattern changes and I use more amusing phrasing or speak in a series of song lyrics.

What makes you think you might be hypomanic?

I just feel so excited to be alive, I love the human race and everything seems so incredibly beautiful

I'm not suffering from insomnia but I do wake up about 4 or 5 in the morning and don't want to go back to sleep because it just seems like a waste of time
